Detail Description: Every spring for about two weeks these wild yellow cowslips emerge along the woodland streams. My father used to tell me that they were good to eat, but I never tried them. I love the yellow color and the shape of the leaves. They brighten up the brown-grey woods, which fade to lavender in this painting.
